for the Vaporite VR001 Solo / VR002 Twins / VR003 Hyper

Vaporising is the healthy alternative to smoking as it does not contain the harmful compounds created by burning plant material. The Vaporite is a passive hot air unit that works as you inhale.
How to use the Vaporite: First, switch the unit on and adjust the temperature dial until the display reads around 360 to 380 degrees F (or 180 degrees Celsius). Experiment with different heat levels to find what is best for you.
VR001&2 (Solo and Twins): The red light on the front of the unit will glow as the element is heating up, and will switch off once it has reached the specified heat level. The unit is now ready. The red light will occassionally switch on or off, as the thermostat operates.
VR003 (Hyper): The unit will "beep" once it has reached the specified heat level, indicating it is ready to use. The fan will turn on, assisting you to inhale. The fan then causes the temperature to drop, giving you time to refill the chamber, and be ready to inhale on the next beep.
Chop up your herbs using the grinder provided. The finer, the better. Place a pinch in the hose's glass chamber, at the end marked "HOT". About 1/4 full is best. Gently slide the chamber onto the glass heating rod in the unit. A light, long, inhalation is best. Sucking harder draws the hot air though the herbs more quickly, giving the resin less chance to evaporate. The vapour is almost invisible but you should see wisps of it swirling in the glass chamber. The herbs are done when the vapour no longer tastes "great" and begins to taste cooked. Gently tip the herbs out (don't tap the glass end against your ashtray!) and they should be dry and crumbly. Browning indicates over-vapourisation (burning).
Caution! The glass heating rod and the whip's glass chamber (marked HOT) can both get very hot with sustained vapping and should not be handled directly.
Cleaning: You may find you want to clean the screen, hose and/or mouthpiece. To do this, just swirl some isopropyl alcohol around and through it. Alternatively, methyalted spirits or vodka can be used. Note: we do not recommend you scrape the inside of the glass parts as this often results in breakage! The gauze (screen) is intended to stay there permanently. If you do need to change it, first soak the plastic hose in hot water to loosen it from the glass, then use a chopstick or the skewer provided to remove the existing screen. Prepare a fresh screen by folding up the edges to approximate the shape of the chamber. Insert the chopstick into the hose end of the glass chamber, to act as a "backstop". Push in the screen from the end marked "HOT", using the chopstick to stop it going all the way through.

The Vaporite is guaranteed to work as intended and be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The distributors will repair or replace any defective unit, at their sole discretion. This guarantee does not cover usual wear and tear or breakages caused by the user.
