Marihuanilla, or Siberian Motherwort (Leonurus sibiricus) herb, is used as a cannabis-substitute in Asia and South America. The name means "little marijuana".

Marihuanilla is a psychic smoking herb with mild cannabis-like effects. Alkaloids isolated from the plant include Leonurinine, Leonuridine, Stachydrine, Leuronurine, Prehispanolone, Cycloleonurinine, Leoheterin and Preleoheterin.

It is a herbaceous plants species native from central western Asia, including China and Mongolia and Russia, that is now naturalized in many other parts of the world.

Marihuanilla looks like the real thing, so it is a major ingredient in the "fake pot" sold in magazines like High Times.

The effect seems to be stronger for women, hence the name "motherwort".
